Cryptoasset

Cryptoasset is an umbrella term for digital values and uses cryptography in its structure. These digital values have properties such as they can be traded with other traders, transferred into another account, and stored in the digital wallet. There are many types of crypto assets that exist, and also many more projects are under development. It is an inclusive term because it is the general name given to all cryptographic digital values.

1. Cryptocurrencies: Cryptocurrencies are the most popular cryptoasset in the world. There consists of thousands of cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Dogecoin are examples of the most famous cryptocurrencies. These cryptoassets are also known as the term “coins”. Coins or cryptocurrencies are using blockchain networks with properties such as decentralized structure. Users from the network create a decentralized structure for separating the control of the currency. 2. Utility tokens: The utility tokens do not use their blockchain technology to operate compared to cryptocurrencies. These tokens use another blockchain network such as Ethereum. The projects follow the principles of these blockchains and exist to have different utilities.
3. Non-fungible-tokens: Non-fungible-tokens or NFTs are unique cryptoassets. One Bitcoin is the same as any random Bitcoin. However, all NFTs are unique, and their own values are independent of another NFT. Many areas, such as art and gaming, use NFTs because of this non-fungible function. 5. Stablecoins: Stablecoins are the traditional currencies such as Dolar or Euro. This type of cryptoasset’s value change is dependent on the conventional currencies’ value.
