ConsenSys and AMD Partnership
The trio of ConsenSys, AMD, and Abu Dhabi-based investment management firm Halo Holdings was working on a blockchain-based cloud computing infrastructure. ConsenSys announced the collaboration in a press release published on January 4, 2019. In collaboration, ConsenSys will provide expertise in computing and technology use cases on the security side of blockchain transactions.
According to the press release, W3BCLOUD will be the first independent cloud computing blockchain infrastructure to meet the requirements of both the public and private sectors.
Microsoft Invests in ConsenSys
According to the press release dated March 15, 2022, the value of Ethereum software developer ConsenSys has soared to $7 billion after raising $450 million during the Series D funding round! Technology giant Microsoft is among the investors of ConsenSys.
